The Bodor P12 30kW fiber laser cutting machine has been successfully installed in Alytus, introducing a high-power solution for efficient processing of large-format sheet metal. Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, this system combines extreme cutting power with advanced motion control for stable and precise operation.
The P12 30kW features a working area of 12,500 × 2,600 mm, supporting oversized metal sheets and high-volume production. Its 30kW laser source enables fast and consistent cutting of thick materials, with available power configurations ranging from 12 kW to 60 kW. A maximum travel speed of 200 m/min and acceleration up to 2.8G ensure rapid positioning and reduced cycle times. High positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm/m and repeatability of approximately ±0.03 mm deliver reliable, high-quality cutting results. The extended Z-axis travel of 370 mm allows flexible material handling.
Advanced functions include one-second edge detection for rapid setup, visual collision prevention to protect key components, active obstacle avoidance for stable cutting, and an automatic nozzle changing system that increases uptime and minimizes maintenance-related interruptions.
