Bodor M3 12kW Tube Laser Cutting Machine
The Bodor M3 12kW tube laser cutting machine has been implemented in Rokiškis to expand production capacity and improve the efficiency of metal tube and profile processing. The M3 series was selected as a high-power, automated solution capable of handling large volumes and complex cutting tasks.
Key features include a 12kW fiber laser source that delivers fast and stable cutting of thin- and thick-walled tubes made from carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and other metals. A four-chuck clamping system enables true zero-tail cutting, ensuring maximum material utilization and minimal waste. The machine supports tube lengths up to 12 meters, diameters up to 356 mm, and weights up to 800 kg, allowing flexible processing of round and profile tubes. Bevel cutting up to ±45° supports the production of complex structural components and weld-ready parts. Intelligent automation with simultaneous loading and unloading increases throughput and reduces idle time, while positioning accuracy of 0.06 mm/m ensures consistent cutting quality during continuous operation.
The system delivers high productivity through a combination of laser power and automation, significantly shortening processing cycles. Material efficiency is improved through zero-tail cutting, reducing raw material costs. A wide range of supported tube sizes and shapes enables both standard and custom production. Energy-efficient operation and reduced secondary processing help lower operating expenses, while the machine’s robust design ensures reliable long-term performance under industrial workloads.
The Bodor M3 12kW installation in Rokiškis demonstrates how advanced laser tube cutting technology enhances production flexibility, efficiency, and competitiveness in modern metalworking.
